Tom Boak

Vice Chairman

Beginning in 1973, Tom was involved in land planning and development in The Woodlands, TX and later co-founded a custom home building business.  Tom continues to conduct all of the accounting and legalities associated with the business, as well as supervise construction of many of the homes.

In addition to his many professional successes, Tom is an active leader in the community.  A few of Tom’s achievements include helping form the Rotary Club of The Woodlands and serving as first President as well as Chairman of the Board.   He is a founding director of the South Montgomery County YMCA and was honored in 2003 as a “Hometown Hero” for the many contributions he has made to the community over the past thirty years.

Tom has been dedicated to a lifetime of service to United States Masters Swimming. He has served as Committee Chair of Championship, Rules, and Finance: as President and now Treasurer of USMS; as member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors; as Convention delegate since 1981; he continues to serve the organization.
